Default New to the Tegu World

I recently went to the White Plains NY show and seen some really nice Tegu babies. Now I never owned a Tegu before, but have reptiles already. I have a Spider Ball Python and 2 Citrus Bearded Dragons. I didnt want to buy a Tegu yet til I have done my research. Can anyone point me in the right direction of good breeders or people on this site that are selling for good price.

    HI Aragon, Welcome Aboard .....

I'm glad to see your going to do the research on Tegus first. If you have any questions, we would be happy to help you.

I agree with the others. I would be confident in purchasing a Tegu from Varnyard / Bobby Hill.

it's still really unknown at this time. some think it's a new species but most think it's like a sub species of the "Argen" black & white, but they tend to have a blue tint/hue to the white scales on their body

It's up for debate. but I think I heard someone say that blues are smaller than the average argentine.

Hi Aragon. Welcome to the Tegu forum family. I wish more people would be like you and do their research first before getting a Tegu. I do have to warn you. Once you have one it's very hard to just have one of them lol. They are amazing Lizards.
