The Tegu Community Chatroom Rules
We discourage any of the following activity:
· Disruptions of the normal flow of dialogue, cause a screen to "scroll" faster than other users of the chatroom are able to type, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in real time exchanges. This is known as “flooding”. No typing in excessive block capitals also - as this is considered as shouting.
· Victimizing, harassing, degrading or intimidating an individual or group of individuals on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. Hate speech is unacceptable in the chatroom.
· Adult language or content. This room is used by those of all ages. As such, there will be NO adult language or content until after 11pm EST.
· Links to and/or references to content that would be concidered vulgar or distasteful.
There are three levels of users in this chatroom: Admins, Mods, Users.
As a User, you are welcome to join and chat. Please follow the basic rules above and show all chatters equal respect. If you have an issue with another User that can not be avoided, please contact a Mod to help you resolve the issue. If you feel the Mod was not successful in resolving the issue you may contact an Admin.
As a Mod, your role is to guide the Users. To help them understand the rules. You are not here to kick Users based on personal issues or for fun. You shall attempt to resolve any rule violations with fair and polite warnings. If that does not work, or if the User is blatantly disreguarding the rules, a kick or ban may be issued as required. Mods may NOT kick or ban another Mod. As a Mod you must respect these written chat rules, and you MUST follow any request that you are instructed to by an Admin.
As an Admin, your role is to guide both Users and Ops. To help maintain a fluid chatroom room that is both safe and fun to chat in. To assist or mediate issues between Users and/or Ops.
Current Admins are Rick^ & Varnyard.
The Mods deem what is inappropriate in this chat. If you don't agree, please leave until you can contact an Admin to resolve your issue.
